§ E’ un appuntamento che, per chi conosce Genova, richiede sicuramente competenze linguistiche e comunicative. Il progetto nasce da un’iniziativa congiunta di Scuola, Quotidiano (Secolo IX) ed Autorità portuale. Esso è un’esemplificazione di una nuova impostazione scolastica che vede gli istituti in stretto rapporto con le realtà socio-culturali ed ambientali in cui sono inseriti. Genova è una città ricca di storia e di personaggi importanti, che sarà nel 2004 la capitale europea della cultura. I giovani dovranno essere i protagonisti di quell’evento, in cui il mare, i centri storici, le tradizioni saranno gli argomenti da approfondire e da confrontare in un più ampio quadro europeo di riferimento.

Gli alunni hanno, per questo, realizzato un depliant-guida della città ed un CD musicale da supporto, utilizzando il linguaggio poetico, quello grafico-pittorico, quello musicale.

     § Es una cita que, para el que conoce Génova, requiere seguramente competencias lingüísticas y comunicativas. El proyecto nace de una iniciativa conjunta de Escuela, Periódico “Siglo IX” y la Autoridad Portuaria. Éste es un ejemplo de un nuevo diseño escolar que percibe los institutos en estrecha relación con las realidades socio-culturales y ambientales en las cuales se integran. Génova es una ciudad rica de historia y de personajes importantes y que será en el 2004 la capital europea de la cultura. Los jóvenes tendrán que ser los protagonistas de ese evento, en el que el mar, los centro históricos, las tradiciones serán los temas en los que profundizar y confrontar en un amplio cuadro europeo de referencia. 

Los alumnos han realizado en base a esto una guía de la ciudad y un CD musical  utilizando el lenguaje poético, el gráfico-pictórico y el musical.

§         Für alle, die Genua kennen, ist es klar, dass eine solche Situation Sprachkompetenz voraussetzt. Das Projekt ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt von der Schule, der Tageszeitschrift Secolo IX und dem Hafen  von Genua. Es ist eines jener innovativen Schulprojekte, die die Schulen in engem Zusammenhang mit der sozio-kulturellen Realität ihres Territoriums sehen. Die Stadt Genua -  reich an Geschichte und großen Persönlichkeiten – ist 2004 europäische Kulturhauptstadt. Die jungen Leute sollten die Akteure bei diesem Ereignis sein, das sich um das Meer, die Altstadtviertel und die reichen Traditionen drehen wird und so eine Brücke nach Europa schlagen soll.

Die Schüler haben in diesem Rahmen einen Stadtführer und eine Musik-CD hergestellt, indem sie alle Ausdrucksregister benutzt haben, das poetische, das malerische und das musikalische.  

 §        This is a project which, for those who know Genoa, definitely calls for linguistic competence and powers of communication.  It arose as a joint activity between the school, a daily newspaper (the ‘Secolo IX’) and the port authorities, and is an example of a new approach in which the schools are in close contact with the social, cultural and environmental reality which surrounds them.  Genoa is a city full of history and important personalities and in 2004 it will be European Cultural Capital.  Its young people will have to play a leading role during that event, in which the sea, the old city centre and the city’s traditions will be themes to look at in depth and to make comparisons with in a broader European frame of reference.

To this end the pupils have produced a guide brochure to the city and a supporting music CD using the languages of poetry, graphics and painting and music.
