15. Solidarietà ed identità europea

Istituto Tecnico Commerciale "A.M.JACI" di Messina  

     § Si tratta di un progetto Comenius che coinvolge 4 licei partners della Norvegia,della Germania,della Francia, dell’Inghilterra. Nasce dall’esigenza di proporre una maniera nuova e più stimolante per l’apprendimento della lingua francese e di quella inglese, di utilizzare le nuove tecnologie della comunicazione, di diffondere una cultura di maggiore respiro europeo. Tale iniziativa della scuola si giustifica con la nuova realtà del porto di Messina, che va assumendo sempre più caratteristiche internazionali. Ancora una volta è la scuola che si fa carico di progetti per la promozione della conoscenza delle lingue.

A maggio, a Messina, gli alunni di questi licei si sono incontrati per riflettere sul tema della solidarietà e dell’identità europea, scambiandosi informazioni e opinioni nelle due lingue: francese ed inglese. I temi trattati vanno dalla politica al terrorismo dalla religione alla globalizzazione, dallo sport alla ricerca e allo sviluppo. Avremmo voluto essere presenti anche noi a quell’incontro, considerando che la ben nota ospitalità di questa regione ha proposto escursioni in località di grande suggestione, quali le Eolie, Siracusa, Taormina e l’Etna. Se poi vorremo documentarci su quanto avviene ed è avvenuto tra questi licei, basterà visitare la biblioteca della scuola dove sarà possibile trovare un cd rom una videocassetta ed una raccolta fotografica.

§         This  is  a  “Comenius” project involving 4 partner upper-secondary schools in Norway, Germany, France and the UK. It derives from the need to propose a new and more stimulating way for learning French and English, for using the new communications technologies and for disseminating a more European-based culture. This initiative of the school is explained by the new realty of the port of Messina, which is becoming increasingly international. Once again the schools are implementing projects for the promotion of language skills. In May, the students of these upper-secondary schools in Messina have met to discuss the topic of European Solidarity and Identity, exchanging information and opinions in two languages: French and English. The topics involved include politics, terrorism, religion, globalisation, sports, research and development. We would have liked to attend the encounter, considering that the well-known hospitality of this region has proposed excursions in highly suggestive locations, such as the Aeolian Islands, Syracuse, Taormina and Mount Etna. If we want to have information on what is happening and what has happened, we can visit the school library where we can find a CD-ROM, a videocassette and a set of photos.

§         Es handelt sich um ein Comenius-Projekt, an dem 4 Oberschulen, jeweils eine aus Norwegen, Deutschland, Frankreich und England, als Partner beteiligt sind. Es entstand aus dem Bedürfnis, eine neue und mehr Anreize bietende Form des Erlernens der französischen und englischen Sprache vorzuschlagen, die neuen Kommunikationstechnologien einzusetzen und eine europaweite Kultur zu verbreiten. Diese Initiative steht in Einklang mit der neuen Realität des Hafens von Messina, der international immer mehr an Bedeutung gewinnt. Wieder ist es die Schule, die durch Projekte den Erwerb von Sprachkenntnissen fördern will.

Im Mai haben sich die Schüler dieser Oberschulen in Messina getroffen, um über das Thema der Solidarität und der europäischen Identität nachzudenken; der Informations- und Meinungsaustausch fand auf Französisch und Englisch statt. Die behandelten Themen reichen von der Politik bis zum Terrorismus, von der Religion bis zur Globalisierung, vom Sport bis zur Forschung und Entwicklung. Auch wir wären gerne bei diesem Treffen dabei gewesen, da diese, wie bekannt, gastfreundliche Region Ausflüge zu eindrucksvollen Orten, wie den Äolischen Inseln, nach Syrakus, Taormina und auf den Ätna organisiert hat. Dokumente über das, was zwischen diesen Schulen geschieht und geschehen ist, sind in der Bibliothek der Schule verfügbar, wie ein Cd Rom, eine Videokassette und eine Sammlung von Fotografien.

§         Se trata de un proyecto "Comenius" en el que participan 4 institutos asociados de Noruega, Alemania, Francia e Inglaterra. Es fruto de la necesidad de proponer una forma nueva y más estimulante de aprender  francés e inglés, de utilizar las nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación y de divulgar una cultura europea más amplia. Esta iniciativa de la escuela encuentra justificación en la nueva realidad del puerto de Mesina, que cada vez va cobrando mayor importancia internacional. Una vez más, la escuela se encarga de llevar a cabo proyecto para fomentar el conocimiento de los idiomas.

En mayo se reunieron en Mesina los estudiantes de los institutos citados para reflexionar sobre el tema de la solidaridad y la identidad europea, intercambiando información y opiniones en ambos idiomas, francés e inglés. Los temas tratados iban de la política al terrorismo, pasando por la religión, la globalización, el deporte, la investigación y el desarrollo. También a nosotros nos hubiera gustado estar presentes en dicho encuentro, habida cuenta de que la famosa hospitalidad de esa región había propuesto excursiones a lugares muy sugestivos, como las islas Eolias, Siracusa, Taormina y el Etna. Si queremos documentarnos sobre lo que han hecho y siguen haciendo estos  institutos, es suficiente  visitar la biblioteca de la escuela, donde podemos encontrar un CD-Rom, una cinta de vídeo y una colección de fotografías.

     §    Il s'agit d'un projet « Comenius » qui concerne 4 lycées partenaires de Norvège, d'Allemagne, de France, d'Angleterre. Il naît du besoin de proposer une manière nouvelle, plus stimulante, d'apprendre la langue française et la langue anglaise, d'utiliser les nouvelles technologies de la communication, de diffuser une culture de plus vaste portée européenne. Cette initiative de l'établissement se justifie par la nouvelle situation du port de Messine, dont les caractéristiques deviennent de plus en plus celles d'un port international. Encore une fois c'est l'école qui se charge de projets pour la promotion de la connaissance des langues.

En mai, à Messine, les élèves de ces lycées se sont rencontrés pour réfléchir sur le thème de la solidarité et de l'identité européenne ; ils ont échangé des informations et des opinions dans les deux langues : française et anglaise. Les thèmes traités vont de la politique au terrorisme, de la religion à la globalisation, du sport à la recherche et au développement. Nous aussi, nous aurions voulu être présents à cette rencontre, étant donné que l'hospitalité bien connue de cette région a pris la forme d'excursions dans des localités très évocatrices comme les Iles Eoliennes, Syracuse, Taormina et l'Etna. Si nous voulons nous documenter sur ce qui se produit et s'est produit entre ces lycées, il suffira de visiter la bibliothèque de l'établissement où l'on pourra trouver un Cd Rom et une cassette vidéo, ainsi qu'un recueil de photographies.
