10. Emigrazione dei fornaciai friulani agli inizi del '900

Il progetto, realizzato in collaborazione con Lussemburgo e Francia, intende raccogliere materiali utili per raccontare l’esperienza dell’emigrazione verso questi paesi europei dei lavoratori friulani delle fornaci, ai primi del ’900. Momenti significativi del progetto sono stati quelli dei contatti con gli immigrati italiani, in occasione di interviste che sono servite anche a costoro per ritrovare la memoria del passato, riflettere sulla propria storia famigliare e per rafforzare il senso di identità e radicamento. I risultati della ricerca sono confluiti, poi, in una interessante mostra fotografica itinerante. Tutti i materiali sono stati, inoltre, raccolti in modo organico in un testo che sarà utile per tutti coloro che vorranno accostarsi alla materia.

This project, realized in collaboration with Luxembourg and France, sets out to collect  material which will help to tell the story of the emigration to these countries of the kiln-men of Friuli at the beginning of the twentieth century. Some of the most significant moments in the course of the project were the contact established with the Italian immigrants during interviews which also helped them to discover the memory of their past, reflect on their family history and strengthen their sense of identity and their roots. The results of the research were subsequently put together to make up an interesting touring photographic exhibition.   The material was also all collected organically into a text which will be useful to all those who wish to know more about this subject.

Das Projekt sammelt Material, zusammen mit den beteiligten Ländern Frankreich und Luxemburg, das die Emigration der Arbeiter Anfang 1900 aus den Ziegelfabriken dieser Gegend in diese beiden Länder betrifft. Besonders bedeutungsvoll waren die Augenblicke, in denen der Kontakt zu den italienischen Immigranten durch Interviews hergestellt war, die den Immigranten auch dazu dienten, die Vergangenheit zusammen mit der Familiengeschichte aus der Vergessenheit zu befreien und dadurch Identität und Herkunft neu zu definieren.  Die Resultate der Untersuchung wurden in eine Foto-Wanderausstellung fest gehalten. Das übrige Material ist in einem Buch zusammengestellt, das jeder einsehen und nachlesen kann, der sich für dieses Thema interessiert.  

Le projet, réalisé en collaboration avec le Luxembourg et la France, a pour ambition de recueillir des matériaux utiles pour raconter l’expérience  de l’émigration vers ces pays européens, des briquetiers frioulans, au début du XXème siècle. Les moments du projet où les élèves se sont mis en contact avec les immigrés italiens, à l’occasion d’entretiens qui ont également servi à ces derniers à retrouver la mémoire du passé, réfléchir sur leur histoire familiale et renforcer leur sentiment identitaire et leurs racines, ont été particulièrement significatifs. Les résultats de la recherche ont débouché, ensuite, sur une intéressante exposition-photos itinérante. En outre, tous les matériaux ont été recueillis de manière homogène, dans un texte qui sera utile pour tous ceux qui voudront aborder le sujet.  

El proyecto, realizado en colaboración con Luxemburgo y Francia, pretende recoger materiales útiles para contar la experiencia de la emigración, hacia estos países europeos, de los trabajadores friulanos de los tejares a principios del ‘900. Momentos significativos del proyecto han sido los de los contactos con los inmigrantes italianos, con ocasión de las entrevistas que han servido también a éstos para reencontrar la memoria de su pasado, reflexionar sobre su propia historia familiar y para reforzar su sentido de identidad y de arraigo. Los resultados de la investigación han confluido luego en una interesante exposición fotográfica itinerante. Todos los materiales han sido además recogidos de forma orgánica en un texto que será útil para todos los que quieran abordar el tema.
